In this page you can find my latest artworks and projects including calligraphy, lettering and black and grey tattoos. My calligraphic and lettering works are based exclusively on freehand design, using an unique technique developed trough 20 years of experience.
I’ve chose to focus my work and studies on calligraphy, fascinated by the many shapes and different features a single letter could have. Writing is always been one of the most creative act: it’s the process to translate a sound , a concept into a symbol. This process signed the beginning of our culture, of our history. The idea to draw from the past to create something contemporary is for me an everyday challenge. Mixing Gothic alphabet and Arabic flow.
Il mio lavoro ruota esclusivamente attorno a disegni disegnati a mano. Utilizzando una tecnica particolare che impiega pennelli piatti per ricreare in modo complesso elementi calligrafici decorazioni o direttamente sulla pelle dell’individuo che sto tatuando. Questo approccio garantisce che ogni pezzo sia unico nel suo genere, adattato specificatamente alla parte del corpo e alla persona. Inoltre, mi diletto nell’integrare nelle mie creazioni elementi aggiuntivi come motivi floreali o soggetti monocromatici, il tutto con l’obiettivo di realizzare progetti davvero distintivi.
I’m based in Italy as resident artist at Hold Fast Tattoo, in Finale Ligure . However, I also participate in conventions and guest spots both in Italy and abroad. Thank you for checking out my work!
